Updating a Warehouse

You can update the details of a warehouse in the Warehouse master file, and you can delete warehouses you no longer require. Note that you cannot delete warehouses with active transactions or stock on hand.

1. Open the Warehouse File Update screen.

Refer to "Opening the Warehouse Master File".

2. Optionally, recall a warehouse by selecting FILE | FIND.

3. Update the warehouse details on the following tabs as required:

• Warehouse details – refer to "File - Warehouse - Warehouse"
• Printers for job tickets, transfer dockets, picking slips, etc. – refer to "File - Warehouse - Printers"
• Bins locations and dimensions – refer to "File - Warehouse - Bins"
• Warehouse Email addresses – refer to "File - Warehouse - Email"
• PDA Users details (pickers for specific debtors) – refer to "File - Warehouse - PDA Users (v2.8)" (2.8 Feature)
• Transfer markups – refer to "File - Warehouse - Transfer (v2.8)" (2.8 Feature).

Technical Tip Please note that some options may be disabled due to: modules not being available on the system (like PDA Applications and Multi Bins) user ID access having these options removed from the menu selection setup.

4. Select FILE | SAVE to save your changes.

5. To delete the warehouse displayed, select FILE | DELETE.
